One of the most well known Polish photographers. He was never fascinated by the news/press type of photography. Rather his works are filled with an atmosphere of silence, loneliness mixed with a dose of delicate sense of humor.
Wojtek Wieteska’s photography is set in the tradition of classical documentary photography with a strongly subjective hue. However, through their sophisticated style his potos acquire a powerful hint of individuality.
From 1986 he has been working as a photographer. Currently he lives in Warsaw. His journeys to Australia, North Africa, Middle East, Europe, Japan and USA were always an inspiration for photographic projects. Among them are: „36xParis“, „Reality“, „Far West“, „Tokyo“, „NYC#02“, „Still Life“.
